What is the pHix packaging made of?

The pHix snap sachets utilize a multilayer film structure for their packaging. Specifically, the bottom layer—often referred to as the “back plastic part”—is typically composed of a combination of polystyrene (PS), aluminum foil, and polyethylene (PE). This configuration provides both structural integrity and barrier protection, with the PE layer in direct contact with the liquid product. The PS and PE layers are scored to facilitate the sachet’s unique one-handed opening mechanism, allowing for controlled dispensing when the sachet is folded.
